This beautiful fishing town, we call home for a few months, has to be one of the most picture-perfect spots in Portugal.
The view of the Santa Marta lighthouse from the bridge, featured in many travel magazines and painted by talented artists, has to be one of our favourite spots.

Here you will find a beautiful small clifftop village with whitewashed cottages and cobbled streets overlooking a small sandy beach with a seawater pool.
Right above the pool stop at the Azenhas do Mar restaurant for an unforgettable seafood stew.
We realise that Portugal has many more incredible spots and we can’t wait to explore more of the country.

Only one of these beautiful gems,is very well dear to my heart and know fairly well,for it’s my birthplace the island of São Miguel that I left to emigrate to America.
