Where to watch: Oia is the classic, but it gets packed shoulder to shoulder, so arrive at least an hour early. Imerovigli and Firostefani have the same view with a fraction of the crowd. Our favourite option is a sunset catamaran cruise in the caldera, or join an Oia sunset tour that sorts the transport for you.
